This security training provides an overview of the situations that fall under the broad definition of workplace violence. Separate courses address different scenarios that can escalate into violent incidents. Participants will receive practical guidance on how to recognize developing problems and examine recommendations for managing specific cases.
A main goal of the series is to ensure participants are aware of the corporate responsibility to provide a safe workplace for all employees during regular business operations, during a labor dispute or a high risk termination. They will be made aware of the potential liability that a company faces should it fail to comply with industry standards, specifically those set forth by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
